So after my Yoga shopping spree I discovered something...I always just didn't look at the clothes since I didn't do Yoga...well that was stupid..the clothes are so cute and it's not like I can't wear this top out? Soemtimes we put things in a box and never look back....time to bring Yoga to the street...and I must say...it took me 30 years to rock some chucks...but i feel like they are my long lost Soul shoe...haha Hope your week is off to a good start! Do you guys keep certain clothing for certain occasions and don't allow them to cross paths?haha I feel like I have wasted so much time!!!!

I'm 34 today...

Thank you to Stacie Frazier...I have met my creative counterpart...my dreams soul mate... you guys should get one of those...they are awesome ;O)

So, last night I stayed up till midnight working on some special projects...I looked at the clock and realized I was officially one year older. My hubby walked into the living room and sang me the most ridiculous birthday song ever and it was perfect. I am happy. I have tons of wants..but I am content...and I am living the life I want... feels good to say that...man is it hard to be content..the shot above was taken this past weekend when I finally dived into a private yoga class...there were a few that were on the more advanced side and some that were totally beginners...but I was excited to challenge myself..one thing about getting old is well..your body just doesn't do what it used to do...I mean I was a dancer and still dance...and I am soo tight and NOT as flexible as I used to be!  Anyway back to today.

The hubby sang loud and there I was totally aware that I sleep less...that my back ached...that if I don't drink enough water I will wake up all dry and wrinkly... that if you turn wrong you CAN tweak your back and I NEED my morning cup of coffee to officially open my eyes...haha but man there are so many other things that are amazing...and every year I look back at and usually think of one thing that defined that year...funny how we often think of the tragedy...and while there are things that make up your year or for me even a couple of years...this past year was filled with fire...I felt fearless...and jumped head first into things that scared the crap out of me...heck some still do!

I have the honor of sharing my birthday with my dad...what a gift my mom gave to me...I can't tell you how special it is...and while I miss my mom even more so on my birthday I know that she is cheering me on this wild journey...and I even went to a secret Marshalls trip last night for our annual birthday ritual....got me some new shoes and wondered the store thinking of all the things that would have made her smile...

I start each year thinking of how I want it to be remembered....for the good I did...for the people I touched...for the clients I helped...for the goals I accomplished...for the dreams I went after... I am wanting to be more present this year even more than last....and relish in each moment...I want to notice the smile on my hubby's face and sit in the happy that we are...I want to hear my dad's wisdom...and feel my sisters laugh... look into my Sophie and Sampsons eyes and tell them I love them every chance I can get and feel their kisses...listen to my Sasha...who was my first feline friend...and cuddle with my Oscars who loves unconditionally....I'm excited about this life...and this year will be remembered...each day at a time...

A special thank you to my friends and family...your words and your life give me this desire and hope...and I want to share each moment with all of you!

So..I'm 34...and I am ready to BRING IT....

XOXO

Confessions of a Boudoir Spokesmodel: Lingerie

{To see more from our most recent photo shoot Click HERE!}

We all know by now that I have been living a dream working with Stacie Frazier of Haute Shots Boudoir Photography...what started out as an audition for a spokesmodel position turned into a family and empire creation...together we have created some of the most unbelievable projects and I can not wait to see what the next year will bring. That being said, you all know I love a good deal..haha I'm a chronic Marshalls shopper and I created a whole club called Thrifters Anonymous just so that I could have a valid reason for my addiction. haha On the flip side I also love really nice things...higher end things...things that will last for a long time or just make you feel amazing... while I know that this topic is a little risque ..we all know that a girl likes to feel sexy and some of you out there wonder where I like to shop for my lingerie...and so much more...so I have decided to create a little series called... Confessions of a Boudoir Spokemodel. I get so many questions from where I buy my lingerie, to what are some tips before booking your first boudoir photographer....seeing as though I am working with the best I thought I would share some of our secrets with you and open up a forum for anyone to ask me anything...not everyone agrees with what I do...but that is the fun about this blog thing...it's a free space...so if you wanna be a lurker...that is totally cool..otherwise leave me your questions below or email me at colorbllindblog@gmal.com.

So a little bit about the lingerie you see above!

1. Bella Bella Boutique: La Lilouche Lingerie  I absolutely LOVE Bella Bella Boutique...carrying some of the most beautiful designers you will find...her prices are competitive and her blog is always inspiring...She also happens to carry one of my absolute favorite designers lingerie La Lilouche...if you have not checked her out...then go now!
2. H&M: Ok. So if you have not been to H&M in while you should go...the lingerie is on sale NOW and I just got 12 pieces for $50 yep....panties for $1 and some of my favorite pieces for $7...LOVE So many choices from sweet and sophisticated to rocker chic...I got both of those you see above online!
3.Luxxa: This piece is by Luxxa is in Marseille, France and is unique hand made pieces that you will not find anywhere else! While some are super risque...they are all gorgeous...for some of you looking for those pieces that are unique and well a little more revealing check this site out...I was honored to have them as one of my first intimates sponsors...and so excited to wear the piece above for an upcoming shoot!
4.Marshalls: Yep...Marshalls....Marshalls happens to be one of my favorite places to get lingerie...intimates of all kinds...they literally have a whole department devoted to high end designer lingerie and intimates...I am wearing high waisted panties and a gorgeous Natori bra in the pictures above...I am also wearing Steve Madden heels and a bracelet I got there too...

So...these are just a few of my favorite places to get lingerie...from high end to designer deals...to unique pieces...getting creative and choosing pieces that you feel comfortable in will make your boudoir experience amazing...and if you don't have a boudoir session booked...then you will just feel sexy underneath your suit...or sweat pants...haha till my next confession...xoxo
