So this is where we went on Sister night this week..The new Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas..we were invited by a dear friend and had such a great time..this is just one of the lobby's...and I LOVE everything about it...the mismatched chairs, all vintage...we had such a great time! I also felt like I was dressed accordingly, a little 70's, kinda retro...I recently visited my local Salvation Army, after doing the feature on The Lifestyles of the Thrifty and Shameless found here, I missed going to some of my old favorites. I found some amazing things, and this skirt was one of them. no name inside but it said made in Paris, it looks new but is old, I paid all of $2 for it, and I love it...I also found a dress made in Paris that I can not wait to wear... I am super excited for this weekend, one of my best friends is coming and we will be having a private Thrifters Anonymous Meeting...I can not wait!!! I promise to show pics of all her finds!

So, I am embarrassed to say I even watched this, but how awful are these men on The Bachelorette? It is so sad to watch her go through all of this...anyway, that is what I was watching last night...I also was obsessed with any information that had to do with Hugh Heffner and his old fiance..not sure...things have been a little crazy lately....anyway that's all I got...

Well, by the look of my face in this last picture you can tell this was not the most pleasant location! haha Quickly realized that I was lookin all cheery in a dark and stinky grease pit. I recently discovered that Banana Republic has the most amazing sales...which kinda negates the original price? Ya know what I mean...like when it states that it used to be $89.99 and is now priced at $14.99? OK...I 'll take it...so I did...and I love this skirt! The detail at the bottom sold me...I also loved this top from Savers I found. I know it's kinda 90's but the colors were so bright and the ruffles were perfect. Anyway, I had such an amazing weekend! Met up with a great friend, had a killer workout..which I can not wait to begin showing you "A Second Look Project" FINALLY..and had a wonderful Father's Day! Sister and I planned a secret extravaganza for Dad and I must say we pulled it off! I hope he loved it!

About a year and a half ago I bought the cutest lace shorts at H&M in New York. I kept telling myself that lace shorts are gonna be the new trend and that I would be skinny enough to wear them in a year. I'm not sure either is true, but I am still in love with them. There were so many Thrifters Anonymous members last week, but Christina from ReFashion Statement caught my eye, and then I realized what she had created!!! I literally just bought a lace shirt from Savers about 2 weeks ago and was thinking of so many possibilities, but here it is...These are not only gorgeous but Christina is gorgeous! I'm obsessed with Bow Ties. I have them in almost every color, including this necklace I won from the fabulous No Model Lady. Dark Pony Designs has some awesome jewelry and top hats, and well, this bow tie necklace. A couple of weekends ago we all went out for photographer extraordinaire's graduation and we all wore a different bow tie....I will have to show you guys some pics..it was pretty awesome. Ok, that is all I got. After the Comment of the Week I got to thinking you guys probably think we are gross!!! haha We will continue to be inspired by locations...and we will always have hand sanitizer and napkins if we are ever on or by anything nasty. I promise. Hopefully you are enjoying your weekend, a good friend of mine is in town tonight and I'm excited to see what we get into or out of, or beside...but there will be pictures.

We almost missed the sun..

So Photographer Extraordinaire was a little confused..and quite frankly pissed...that I totally didn't share these pics above. See, recently we did a shoot with a huge semi, you can see it here. We had just finished up a shoot with the most amazing photographer John Michael Cooper of Altf, and we ran across the street to take pics...I noticed the sun was setting...and for those of you who are not familiar with Vegas sun...when it goes down..it goes down FAST...so I was screaming at photographer extraordinaire... "HURRRYYYY it is going.....GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE AND TAKE A PICTURE!!!!" yeah...she almost twisted her ankle and fell trying to get these shots...literally two shots when the sun VANISHED.

She got some gorgeous shots and these two were no exception.

Haha...umm I am rather embarassed...cuz when I read her comment I literally looked at my hands and then thought "ummm am I dirty?" haha No..NO! We don't have Purell..but I will have you know that moving forward we now carry Purell...I mean we always washed our hands...but yeah...our shoots seem to be getting dirtier and dirtier...haha Thank you for always making me smile and laugh, you always have the sweetest comments and I am loving that you are sharing your outfit posts with us now...p.s. Have an awesome weekend everyone..and remember to have a date night this weekend...cuz I know I am gonna. I am not Greek, but boy was this restaurant..the music helped take away from the stinky sweat running down my back and the trees, rather palm trees, made me feel like I was on vacation...ok not really...I got nothing. haha We were sooo pissed taking these pictures I can't believe how peaceful I look! The weather is not something I like to talk about often...cuz in Vegas there really isn't much to talk about...it's either winter and cold...or summer and hot...but 113 at 5:00pm...really...I don't even want to straighten my hair cuz it will probably end up in a bun. Oh and I have gotten a few emails asking me if I wear extensions...and the answer is nope...this is all mine...home grown...haha I actually chopped about 3 inches when I got it done last...we shall see how long this skunk look will last.

By the way thank you guys so much for the sweet comments on this post. Photographer extraordinaire reads every comment and we were so excited you guys loved it! I was also super excited you liked that lace dress..cuz I put it in my 30x30...which means I gotta wear it at least 2 more times...haha which I know you guys are wondering where my picks are...I promise this weekend I will get to them..remember my falling asleep on the computer thing yesterday? yeah well it's happening again tonight, along with me wiping tears from my face after watching So You Think You Can Dance....ok...have a wonderful  Thursday..Sister night will be spent here and I am pretty excited.
