#WhatWeWore Preppy Chic at Fruits & Roots Juice Bar in Las Vegas!

We are back with a #WHATWEWORE you probably remember this outfit from my outfit post HERE We are both rocking our new vintage blazers from Catholic Charities here in Las Vegas! You can watch that Come Thrifting With US trip HERE! We love rocking vintage with new and both of our leggings are from Marshalls! We always seem to find the best there!

We also met up for lunch at one of our favorite secret not so secret places Fruits & Roots right there off of Sunset and Buffalo off the 215! Growing up my mom used to make us Carrot Juice, Green juice...all before it was the cool thing to do..believe me..everyone had Squeeze Its and Capri Suns and I had..CARROT JUICE...if only she could see everyone now! This place owned by a very good friend of mine is touched with love and goodness. From Juices to clean eats & well FREE WIFI so we can eat while we work..it has hands down become our go to. 

The menu is filled with so many options not just JUICE!

You can make your own wrap or bowls but we always seem to get the GYRO wrap filled with all the goods! 

The wrap is actually gluten & dairy free and hand made in house & DELCIOUS...so light wrapped around grilled chicken filled with flavor HUGE chunks of avacado and my favorite treat...roasted garbanzo beans!!! 

and don't think for a second that you will still be hungry afterwards...they give you a more then generous portion...let's just say we save all of our macros for this meal alone. Make sure to order the ALL green Everything while you are there too to drink your veggies! Let them know we sent you!!! ENJOY!

Vegas Couture Launches on Nineteenth Amendment!

The time has finally come! Vegas Couture Resort Collection 2015 has launched on Nineteenth Amendment! I am so excited to and honored to be a part of this and to be able to share this with all of you! If you follow me on Youtube then you have probably met Wanda Potter Merritt of Vegas Couture. When I first met her I just knew I had met my styling soul mate... I have worn a few of her designs in fashion shows and I knew we would be friends immediately. When she first told me of her dream for this collection I just knew she has something special...fast forward to today, her one of kind designs are now being made available to you!!!

If you are not familiar with Nineteenth Amendment then you definitely want to check them out! It isn't easy for designers to get their pieces to the mainstream and these guys help people like you and I get our hands on designer pieces at whole sale prices....before they hit the stores! These pre-sale prices are only available for 45 days so it is important to jump on it fast! 

The versatility with the pieces and the black and white simple nature had me hooked..I love that I can wear this to the pool, the beach and then rock them with jeans and heels. These are the kinds of pieces that stick around in your wardrobe for years and years to come. Hand made, I am 100% positive you guys will fall in love!

I am back folks! Man...it feels like forever ago since I did an outfit post and that is mainly cuz I am usually in business attire..which quite frankly lately has consisted of black pants and this very hoodie (my version of business attire) OR I am in workout clothes..which if you follow me on Instagram you see plenty of. 

Well...When I visited Apricot Lane at the Fashion Show Mall here in Vegas last weekend I was surprised to find that the owner had picked this beauty out for me...and while I certainly can't wear it to work...I CAN wear it on a date night with the hubby...I am also really excited about wearing it on our cruise coming soon! Either way...to diffuse the major Angelina Jolie Leg situation I wore my hoodie I had gotten at the grand opening and that I am officially addicted to...don't mind the dog hair...it is semi permanent around here...it was also kind of chilly so that helped. 

If you guys missed my last post Apricot Lane post it is a new boutique here in Vegas, and while they are all owned privately this one in particular has my style all over it! The owner and buyer has an eye...and well not many do...I love me some vintage inspired, sporty, classic, sexy chic and she encompassed it all. Now..I realize this romper is not for everyone...so don't get scared off by my pasty white leg or the fact that maybe it is a little too risquee...she has a large selection and amazing accessories and even shoes! She only has about 4 to 6 items in stock of each so make sure to follow them on Instagram to see what is new! Every wendesday they get new stock so I love checking to see what they have!! Layering The Little Black Dress with Modcloth

Hi Friends!

So Modcloth reached out to me recently to create my favorite layering pieces using their Fall and Winter pieces. Since I would normally be drawn to jeans I was pleasantly surprised how excited I got about this little black dress. I don't know if it is age or what but I feel like I have reverted back to when I was 8 and all I wanted to wear were dresses and sequins!

Modcloth if you guys didn't know is an online boutique with so many unique pieces...from vintage inspired to modern accessories, shoes, jackets, dresses and so much more. If there was a store that described my style it would be Modcloth. A mixture of everything, they carry really great quality pieces and some of my favorite brands like Seychelles! I always find something I LOVE! This Winter I am absolutely obsessed with anything plaid. The wrap coat with the faux fur could be my favorite I have found to date...and I am loving the cardigans..I live in Vegas so layering is a must since it could be hot or freezing! I have also decided I will be wearing tights this winter...I always love them but never find myself wearing them...do you see the bears on these tights? haha I know..and let's not forget my love for cats...cats on shirts, cats on sweaters..and this scarf!! THIS SCARF!! I know...to wearing more hats and accessorizing just a bit more, I am excited to layer it up all winter and really play with texture and print...and you MIGHT see me wearing that jacket... a lot...

Let's just say this could be a great BIRTHDAY wish list... What are some of your favorite layering pieces? Have you guys ever shopped on Modcloth? How would you describe your style? I am definitely a Vintage sporty Chic with a touch of modern...haha TODAY that is...we will see what I am tomorrow!
