Most of us at one point or another have either attempted successfully, or failed miserably...but we have all taken a selfie...admit it... and while everyone has their opinion whether for or against...face it...we all want one that we like haha whether we share it with the world or save it for only our eyes to see! Well, When Stacie Frazier of Haute Shots Boudoir Photography conjured up this idea for our team to take a selfie we all got a little nervous...I mean..it's different when you are taking pics of yourself in your gym clothes...or while eating a chicken breast in my case haha but these had to be SEXY....haha ummm crap...

After getting nervous and about 10 failed attempts I started to follow her tips to taking the picture...you can find her series HERE. Being the photographer extraordinaire she advised that we stand in front of a window...and man...I barely have foundation on in the pic above...It made my skin look perfect!! I was using my cell phone to really get a true selfie and voila..I had some fun with these..I noticed my guard was down since well basically it was just me! haha With some make up tips from KAT and her series HERE, and some hair tips from Rachel here series HERE, I took my styling tips below and BAM...my absolute favorite selfie to date!!! A pioneer for a Spokesomodel program in the Boudoir Industry, I am honored to have been able to be a part of this journey! Now on to some lingerie! Being in boudoir I am always trying to find a new designer or a new look...I mean reality is...it has all been done before...and I know we as a team are unique but when I come across a designer that catches my eye I scream in excitement...and Uye Surana is one of them!

Uye Surana is a New York based and manufactured label that really brings together clothing that is not only wearable but uniue and sexy at the same time. I don't often think of lingerie as loungewear but that is what this lingerie evokes. The designer, Monica Wesley, formed the name Uye Surana as an alias for her label from family names. Layering pieces is what she is known for, wearable pieces... Her latest inspiration was Rihannas style...both effortless and chic...sexy... My favorite are the cut out shorts, and the lace bra. Confessions of a Boudoir Spokesmodel: Finding the right bra for the right fit

Well hello there lovelies. Today we are going to talk about BRAS and Breasts...he he he I know, it's a little racy but heck...we all wear bras...and well some of us should any way...haha I am absolutely in love with these photos from my recent shoot with Haute Shots Boudoir Photography for WPPI here in VEGAS!!! In these photos I am actually wearing a set from H&M, yep...and it fits incredibly well AND I feel sexy...AND it was a total of $20. More on that below. One of the best boudoir photographers around...hands down. Now on to bras!

It is no secret that women wear bras...and it is no secret that with the amount of styles, brands, and sizes of women there are...you can imagine the confusion that sets in when on the hunt. I don't particularly have a hard time when looking for supportive bras if you know what I mean.. TOO much information maybe? Well, haha then you might want to stop reading now. I know so many women who do struggle though and have to actually custom order their bras to get the right fit and even still are not happy! Since working as the Haute Shots Boudoir Photography Spokes model I have found myself on a hunt more often than before...and through the examination of pictures I have discovered what kind of bra I like to WEAR and what kinda of bra I like to be photographed in.

I know it sounds a little odd...but what I have come to discover is that if the bra is comfortable and fits your body it doesn't mean it is giving your BREASTS the appropriate support or even look that you want. I was given an opportunity to chat with Tomima Edmark, founder of HerROOM.com, an online lingerie boutique, where women of all sizes can shop for intimates, shapewear, sleepwear, even sexy lingerie and swimwear from over 200 name brands. With photographs of each item, from every point of view and even a tab that allows you to see what the bra would look like with different necklines...you literally don't have to leave your house to shop. You might know Tomima from the ever so famous Topsy Tail...I had hair down to my butt growing up and this was my mother's best kept secret! Tomima took a few minutes to chat with me about bras and how HerRoom has brought the frustrating world of ill fitting bras to a holt and enabled women to find EXACTLY what they are looking for.She knew that she could help women of all sizes look and feel more confident by helping and educating them.

I, like most women, often don't like change...for a while I would just go to Victorias Secret grab the same "t-shirt" bra that fit me last time..spend $45 and leave with a free tote I will never use and a random lotion that has sparkles in it. Don't get me wrong..VS has beautiful lingerie and bras but there is a world outside of it...I also realized that they don't necessarily use the same sizing standards as other manufacturers so that is why you find that you may be one size there but not the same at other places...or maybe I just need to measure myself every time... Most of you know I am a lover Designer finds at  Discounted Deals...With more designers reaching the local discounted retailers like Marshalls, H&M and Target...women have access to those brands we love and can now say YES to them. There is definitely a sense of confidence you get when you are wearing a bra you feel supported in and SEXY in...and why can't you have both? Now I know that a bra is an investment and while I love deals, I usually find myself splurging on undergarments...with an occasional H&M and Marshalls find.
And while most find that it is not the same value I beg to differ...since I am in these garments more than the average women I will say that some of my favorites are from discounted retailers...but that doesn't go without saying, that YOU MUST have a foundation of bras in your closet that fit your breast size...and thank you to Tomima for creating this Chart below that will help you go after the  bra you are looking for.

Tomima has specifically layed out which bra works for which breast size and how the bra will, for lack of better words, display your breasts...no one ever talks about that really...I mean a push up bra is obvious since it screams cleavage...but did you know that a T-shirt bra typically is geared toward more conical breasts...too much info again? no but really...this little graphic above has me thinking alot about my breasts haha and well has you guys thinking about my breasts now too....that just got awkward...either way...I am heading over to HerRoom to try some on. You are going to love the SEE IT UNDER side bar...It will literally show you what that bra looks like underneath a button down, scoop neck, v-neck...I hope to have more of a formal interview with Tomima and let you guys know how HerRoom worked...but until then let me know how you guys feel about this topic and if I am the only one that hasn't really experimented with different types of bras. Confessions of a Boudoir Spokesmodel: Love Letters...

Funny how Valentines Day is such a holiday that can either make you feel loved...or bring you down...It's a time to that as most of us know was created by our lovely card makers and love letter creators Hallmark...I was never one to LOVE Valentines day...my mom always spoiled us with Valentines...little bears and candy hearts...she was from Israel...no such thing as Valentines Day...and boy did she love it! I guess I always associated it with having someone intimate to love and well since I didn't I made it a point to revolt. I wore all black and I got a new piercing every single year...I know...very dark haha well..today..I am somewhere in between...and being a spokesmodel for Haute Shots one would think I would have lingerie already picked out for our romantic evening haha well I don't and both of us are exhausted and the hubby has to work...so needless to say I won't be spending the evening with my love...but thats ok...we can always plan something for tomorrow... 

I think for now I will write my hubby a love letter...I can't remember the last time I did that and I am sure it involved an email address... What are you guys doing for Valentines Day? Is it something that you guys plan out or is is just another day?

We all know by now that I have been living a dream working with Stacie Frazier of Haute Shots Boudoir Photography...what started out as an audition for a spokesmodel position turned into a family and empire creation...together we have created some of the most unbelievable projects and I can not wait to see what the next year will bring. That being said, you all know I love a good deal..haha I'm a chronic Marshalls shopper and I created a whole club called Thrifters Anonymous just so that I could have a valid reason for my addiction. haha On the flip side I also love really nice things...higher end things...things that will last for a long time or just make you feel amazing... while I know that this topic is a little risque ..we all know that a girl likes to feel sexy and some of you out there wonder where I like to shop for my lingerie...and so much more...so I have decided to create a little series called... Confessions of a Boudoir Spokemodel. I get so many questions from where I buy my lingerie, to what are some tips before booking your first boudoir photographer....seeing as though I am working with the best I thought I would share some of our secrets with you and open up a forum for anyone to ask me anything...not everyone agrees with what I do...but that is the fun about this blog thing...it's a free space...so if you wanna be a lurker...that is totally cool..otherwise leave me your questions below or email me at colorbllindblog@gmal.com. 

So a little bit about the lingerie you see above! 

1. Bella Bella Boutique: La Lilouche Lingerie  I absolutely LOVE Bella Bella Boutique...carrying some of the most beautiful designers you will find...her prices are competitive and her blog is always inspiring...She also happens to carry one of my absolute favorite designers lingerie La Lilouche...if you have not checked her out...then go now!

2. H&M: Ok. So if you have not been to H&M in while you should go...the lingerie is on sale NOW and I just got 12 pieces for $50 yep....panties for $1 and some of my favorite pieces for $7...LOVE So many choices from sweet and sophisticated to rocker chic...I got both of those you see above online!

3.Luxxa: This piece is by Luxxa is in Marseille, France and is unique hand made pieces that you will not find anywhere else! While some are super risque...they are all gorgeous...for some of you looking for those pieces that are unique and well a little more revealing check this site out...I was honored to have them as one of my first intimates sponsors...and so excited to wear the piece above for an upcoming shoot! 

4.Marshalls: Yep...Marshalls....Marshalls happens to be one of my favorite places to get lingerie...intimates of all kinds...they literally have a whole department devoted to high end designer lingerie and intimates...I am wearing high waisted panties and a gorgeous Natori bra in the pictures above...I am also wearing Steve Madden heels and a bracelet I got there too...

So...these are just a few of my favorite places to get lingerie...from high end to designer deals...to unique pieces...getting creative and choosing pieces that you feel comfortable in will make your boudoir experience amazing...and if you don't have a boudoir session booked...then you will just feel sexy underneath your suit...or sweat pants...haha till my next confession...xoxo
