The hubby and I had a really nice weekend...we were finally able to get out for a bit...and when I say a bit I mean 3 hours of crazy fun before we started yawning and realizing that we were exhausted. I hate that the only time I have in a day is from 8pm to 11pm...so if you wanna hang that is when we can hang...just sayin...ANYWAY...I was super excited to get out to Boulder City...one of my favorite places to go when the sun is setting...We always stop at this Antique shop...displayed outside are vintage lawn furniture, frames, and well basically EVERYTHING I need to complete my very eclectic home...The couple that owns the store spotted us taking pics and were thrilled that we were so excited to be there...too bad it would have been obvious if I had stolen one of those frames...haha Next time I am going out there to buy something! They also had a festival going on for one of the bars and were playing music outside...the weather was perfect and I wanted to dress up a little...by this I mean put on a dress... haha and after seeing these pics I am super thrilled I am getting my hair done on Thursday..what color IS my hair anyway? haha oh and thank you hubby for the pics..half the time I didn't even realize he was taking them!

Funny story about this dress...6 people including a man who stopped riding his bike just to tell me how gorgeous I looked...haha one man actually stopped me and said I was the best dressed women he had ever seen...yeah I know...it wasn't exactly the Emmy's but I was feeling pretty...and shouldn't you feel pretty on date night? You should also make sure to get your fortune told by Zoltar and find yourself with a Zagnut...and old fashion candy.....I only hope that we can do it again soon...

I love this Fall outfit...and it just goes to show you, you don't have to spend a ton of money on staple pieces for Fall..While like Danielle Fall isn't really present here where I live...this Chambray top and black jeans are going to be worn a hundred times..I know this cuz I thrifted my Chambray top too!!! Between Thrifting and Marshalls and TJ Max I never have to leave my block! Loving those leopard flats too! Thank you for joining us Danielle! I can't wait to see more of your finds and welcome you to Thrifters Anonymous and I also have front door envy! haha I need to start decorating!

This past weekend I scored a few finds myself...mainly from Marshalls...

I ended up only getting the black booties...went back for the brown ones and they were gone!If you see something you love at Marshalls GET IT. :O(

I'm in love with these pants!! IN LOVE haha don't hate.

and I wanted to share Ana of Sweet Serendipity's Savers Gift Card Finds...if you haven't checked our her blog you should...her and her hubby are adorable and she is a fellow Vintage Dooney lover and thrifter addict...I get the sense we would be fighting for things if we ever went shopping together! She was our winner and for $50 she ended up with the following:

1 brand new leopard cardigan. .

1 fun brown lace looking crochet detailed cardigan.

1 black target pea coat with a fun oversize collar. 

1 fuchsia colored maxi skirt. 

1 chevron patterned skirt. 

1 striped silk blouse

Well, I am like the last person to jump on the Chambray shirt situation...I found this one at Savers and never thought I would ever wear a jean shirt again after wanting a full jean outfit when I was 12 during my first modeling gig...the girl with the poofy hair got to wear it and I was NOT happy...I preceded to make my mother buy me every jean skirt and jean jacket there was....I put buttons, and patches, and all kinds of mess on it and wore it till it fell apart. A lotta years later here I am...wanting to wear jean again...I also LOVED these Hudson jeans I got from Marshalls a couple of years ago...you can always find great jeans there....sadly they are looking a little saggy..CRAP! I barely wore them! Anyway...I didn't end up wearing this shirt to work...cuz after I took pictures I was a sweaty MESS....haha...Jean shirts...or CHaaaaaMBRAY are not quite ready for this heat....I will wait...untill then...Have a wonderful weekend and I am hoping and PRAYING and PROMISE to post my Bikini Competition update, pictures and video...the hubby has offered to help finish it....

Hi. I'm not wearing this today. It is Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, and I am wearing a dress by Jason Wu for Target. I did however wear this last week...that is how behind I am. Too many appointments, and not enough sleep has made me tired..and for the first time I woke up with bags under my eyes...I have NEVER had bags under my eyes....I need a vacation where all I do is sleep....Oh and as I begin to go through all of my clothes and transition to Fall I am also finding lots of shoes I haven't worn a whole lot...most from Marshalls...I am trying to see which will transition with me...and I am hoping I can make this work...I LOVE them...

L'Shana Tova (Happy New Year) and to hoping I can get back on some sort of schedule....

Well, some of you may not know but I am obsessed with Vests....I don't wear them on the blog as often as I should...but I have about 15 vests...from jean to tapestry....Not only is Oahn a fellow thrifter but she is one of our newest members and always manages to look super chick and sexy in all her thrifted goods. Summer is coming to a close...slower for some...i.e. me...and I am loving this look...Mixing a sweater vest with some of your spring and summer goods is always a GOOD idea...thank for sharing Oanh, and thank you for all the kinds words!!! Love your finds keep sharing!!!

With all of the thrifting I did last week..I had to organize my closet and go through some of the items we were gifted by Adam's grandma..I was in vintage heaven over the weekend from a silverware set from 1850 to a vintage hats...I am so honored to have some of these pieces and you will be seeing them soon!!! Here are just a few I insagrammed this weekend. I will show you more pics as I go through more boxes!

September 10, 2006...in pictures

WARNING: I am about to vomit my wedding on you...if you are not partial to weddings, myself, or just plain happiness, I would definitely click out of this post and visit another blog...haha I was going to split it into two posts...but heck..I haven't posted all week, and it's my blog! haha

....and out of 4,543 pictures I only chose 347 haha you guys are lucky I actually couldn't find one of the discs...so this is all I had haha It's like I wanted to SHOW you my wedding...there are a few bits missing ....so in case you missed it...you kinda get the gist...haha we celebrated 6 years on Monday and I can't believe how fast LIFE is going....We wait to get here and the poof....gone....I miss family who is no longer with us and friends who are far away...Most of what you see was hand made by myself and my family and friends...thanks to John Michael Cooper, these are some of my favorite memories....now if I could find the video I will not only need a new box of tissue but someone better remove the 3lb bag of almonds by my side!

Happy Anniversary to my love...what you don't know is in this last picture we were dancing until 3am...with a handful of friends around us we were officially kicked out of the reception hall...hey..at least I got my moneys worth! Hope I didn't totally scare you away with all the pics! Hope you are having a great Friday!!! Will be posting lots more of workouts and diet on my instagram if you wanna follow! @colorblindblog 

P.S. I also discovered that I need a new blog layout....I couldn't even fit the pictures on my post! haha I never really intended for this to be much, but I am not realizing I might need to upgrade. Anyone have any suggestions? Referrals? anything?
