well I guess it is for 2013...but it is still 2012..sooo Hi friends...today would have been my mothers birthday...and while I sit here and write this I am constantly reminded of how truly inspirational she was and still is even after she is gone...man she loved New Years...maybe that is where I get it from...it feels almost like a breathe of fresh air...for me rather...haha seems silly I know....the end of the year...where I get to wear sequins and it doesn't seem out of place..where we get to say all the things we dream of..without judgement...where we get to move past the times where we were not so happy and be grateful for the times that we had with those we lost...hug your family...hug your friends....and in my case....bite my pups ears...more about that in the last post...haha  anyway.... wish for anything your heart desires...my mom and dad always told me that if I write down what I want...what I really really want...out of life, love, and all of the above...that I would get it...now I know...I was 6 and I wanted to be famous...a dancer...an actress...I wanted to perform..ALL THE TIME....and while I may not be on Broadway...and well...famous in my own home...haha...I have learned something....yep...and I will share it....the journey to getting famous...and performing...and dancing..and all of the above...has been amazing....and whether I get to wherever it is I want to go...My new years wish has already come true...

Wishing my mom a happy birthday....and a Happy New Years to all of you friends...and thank you for being part of my journey....have a wonderful weekend and we will see you next year! ok maybe I might see you on Monday for a very special New Years EVE Thrifters Anonymous!!! haha...yeah...so you know when you are like super excited about things....things that you thrifted or bought way back when and you want to WEAR everything you got like together as soon as possible...yeah...umm apparently that is what I did here....haha you might remember this outfit from this post here...and then yesterdays post here...haha and now this one here....not sure if all this works...but one thing I KNOW.is.... I LOVE me some thrifting...I LOVE HAUTE SHOTS....and I love me a good hat. This one in particular looked like it belonged to an older gentlemen who took really good care of his hats...

anyway...I gotta go and get me some outfits for some more outfits posts and stop promising a bunch of stuff I can't get done! I still have to mail out giveaway winner items from like 6 months ago!!!!!!!!

anyway..This is the LAST Friday of 2012....weird right...not sure why that is weird...but I did that all week... "hey...did you know that this is the last Thursday of 2012?" Everyone's response is usually "OHHHH yeahhhh" and that's it..But I like to get a bit deeper and look at how I want to spend my last FRIDAY in 2012....and I have high hopes of snuggling with my puppies...and my hubby...yeah...ever so often I snuggle...I don't even like to use the word snuggle...but the LAST Friday of the year...deserves a snuggle...and I will FINALLY go and get to see Les Miserables....the first musical we saw with my mom! It would have been her birthday on Saturday...so seems somewhat appropriate. ok...Have a wonderful weekend friends! anyone going thrifting and or bargain shopping?

Posts have definitely been a bit more sporadic as the year is coming to a close..sorry for that...they have also been pretty random.. These pictures were taken last month pre- cut and color of my hair! Christmas weekend was so much fun but the hubby and I both agreed that Christmas is waaay cooler in Alaska...near the North Pole and all the snow we could ask for. We missed the family this year, but we were able to spend some much needed time with my family. 

TIME.

 Is anyone else having anxiety about time...anyone? Is it just me? I find myself waking up in the morning with a lump in my throat and a weird fear of lost time...I have been kissing my pups a little harder and squeezing my cats until they squeal .I almost bit my husband on the cheek! What the heck! What am I going to do when I have actual human children...eat their leg! ok..I just want to clarify I do not and will not eat children...just wanted to make that clear...but sometimes...my labs ears...haha anyway enough with my creepy I bite my pets talk...I am super excited for 2013 and completely terrified...My list of I WANTS is getting a little ridiculous...anyway...

I am watching FRIENDS right now as if it was the first time I saw it...does anyone love this show as much as I do? The first year I met my husband I didn't have cable so we just watched episodes of FRIENDS...for 1 YEAR!...haha never gets old I tell ya...ok...hope you guys are doing well and that you are just as anxious about time as I am...cuz then maybe one of you can give me some advice!

You can imagine my excitement when I met with Stacie at Hauteshots and began brainstorming for our next photoshoot! We thought about the holidays and we envisioned exactly this...Stacie has more pics up on her blog and a little behind the scenes of this "dress" and the set up! I had so much fun styling this shoot....and let me tell you...I didn't want to take it off! I was waiting for a horse drawn carriage or something...unfortunately that didn't come...but man did I have fun...I am wearing my favorite necklace from Luxecraving...and in case you want to get you one..Selena is having a 20% sale for the holidays...so get you a Mariyln necklace and wear it with EVERYTHING like I have :O) 

I am also wearing my newest finds from Seychelles...I LOVE these shoes...and if I had these on my wedding day I would have worn them...but I didn't...so I am wearing them now...I added some earrings I found at H&M as I thought they needed to sparkle...I can't say enough about Seychelles...I always tell everyone if I had to describe myself using a shoe brand...it would be Seychelles....hop on over to their site and you will see what I mean...Vintage inspired, edgy, classic, quarky shoes...that are always comfortable and always the star of the show...haha no..I am not sponsored by Seychelles...haha I just have a slight crush...

Lastly a lot of you have been emailing me asking about boudoir photography. Valentines day is around the corner and some may want to take some pics for a beautiful lookbook of your own...check out Stacie's blog HERE, she has created an online book on how to be a boudoir bombshell, I know right...GENIUS! haha but I know lots of you have questions so I am going to create some Q&A's and try and answer some of your questions. P.S. I couldn't help but remember all who lost their lives in the shooting in Connecticut...the day of the photoshoot is when we found out...and we were all completely devastated...all the little girls dreaming of being a princess...I am still in shock..and pray for all the families...

P.P.S. Today marks what would have been the 35th anniversary of my mom and dad....their love was one of a kind...and my mom was the true princess...she used to tell stories of how everyone in her small home of Haifa in Israel would call her the princess of her city...I know my dad misses her terribly...as do we....Happy Anniversary.

Giving Thanks Early: The After Party

Sorry for all the pics...haha but I just loved our Thanksgiving after party...S'mores, fire pit, hookah...family...my puppies...one of my favorite times of of the year...everyone went home around 1:30 in the morning...and THAT is why it is awesome to have Thanksgiving on a weekend...on a day that no one else is having to leave to go to another dinner...I HIGHLY recommend it...and I know you east coasters are probably wondering why we look like we are in Alaska...but it was cold...like 30 degrees cold...YES...it gets cold in Las Vegas...and once the wind started we all were over it..haha 

Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend! I have a photo shoot this weekend and I am soooo excited to style some of my most recent finds from Marshalls, Savers, H&M, and Target! We are also going to shoot a behind the scenes and the challenge was to style a New Years Shoot for under $50! I think it came out awesome! Can't wait to show you guys!
