I WANT to make sure my clients know how much I care.

I WANT to want to wake up early.

I WANT to listen to more music.

haha..so I was thinking...every year I make resolutions....and they usually consist of things I think I want and need to do to get what I really WANT....and I don't really WANT those things...like...for instance...

"I will go to the gym everyday"...ummm no one WANTS to go to the gym everyday..I love working out like the next guy, but what I really want is a svelt body in which I love in a bikini...now if I WANT that, then I think I will do what I need to do..and if it means working out everyday...I think I will do whatever it takes to get what I WANT...

Are you guys following me here...I am very philisophical this morning...haha...I WANT a lot....but you know what is so exciting...I've got a whole year to do it all...and I can start over everyday...I'm excited to make things happen...and who knows..I might get something I didn't even know I WANTED....

Happy New Years friends...one year of blogging for the first time...and I can honestly say meeting each and every one of you..though I may not have spoken to you...or met you yet...has made my life much sweeter....Can't wait to get to know you all...

I am home from a wonderful weekend with the hubby's fam and what a wonderful weekend it was...lot's of laughter, eating, and gift opening...This week seems to be literally flying by and I am ready for this year to be over...We almost lost my baby boy Sampson last week and let's just say I was quickly faced with the reality that I may never be ready to have children..OR I am freakishly in LOVE with my animals...either way..he seems to be doing better and thanks to my best friends and my sister...he was well taken care of...

It is my mothers birthday today...and I wish I could take her shopping...followed by a movie...then Moroccan mint tea at one of our favorite local restaurants....Happy Birthday Momma...you are really missed...

Will be posting some pics from the weekend in SEATTLE,,,not Alaska..apparently I was out of it when I wrote my last post....Went thrifting with the hubby and ate a whole lot...luckily the eating was followed by lots of walking...I am also happy we were not in Alaska as it was 40 below...I was ok with 30 degrees in Seattle...haha

2 Dogs, 2 Cats, and a Menorah

The first night of Hanukkah was a success...Sophie, Sampson, Sasha, & Oscars helped light the Menorah and sang a diddy about a Dreidle...and this was just Day 1!  I know...us Jews know how to celebrate...Just wait untill we bust out the Gelt! I mean what is better than Gold Foil covered mediocre chocolate! haha yeah..I said french fries too...

These are my babies...I know...they are not REAL human babies...but let's face it...I'm an animal lover...I also like things in pairs...

I almost busted my face wearing these heels...but after looking over the pictures I guess it was worth it...you know when you are walking and your heel falls into one of those cracks in the street? Yeah that happened while I was walking into a clients office...it was silly...to top it all off, this skirt doesn't allow me to walk very far, so I basically feel like Jessica Rabbit struttin around...haha Lesson learned...if I have to go ANYWHERE...while walking....don't wear these shoes....

Just a little insight into our filming yesterday...it was pretty awesome...and when I say pretty...I mean like totally Bad A**, we kicked some major boootey....but I can't turn my neck and I feel broken...P.E. does too...thanks for all of your support!!!

Oh and ummm is anyone out there watching the Housewives? haha ok, fine..well we are and umm haha NENE has lost her dog gone mind...seriously....

So my recent addiction to faux fur is continuing...and when I saw Elle and Timi of IStyle I quickly began to think about how I can wear my faux fur jacket to work and make it work! You ladies look like you had a blast, one of these days Detroit will meet Vegas and we will tear it up! Thanks ladies for sharing your love and the love and continue inspiring us thrifters!

Needless to say we have not had time to shop, shoot, or thrift nothin...so I will leave you with some silly shots P.E. and I took today while shooting our Black Raven Production i.e. kung fu action extravaganza I keep talking about...I know I have mentioned it..but I assure you, you will be seeing more! Some minor bruises and cuts...but both of us are alive and exhausted...my hands are trembling while typing so I will keep this short! You know how you are taking pictures and a stranger offers to take your picture...so you immediately want to say no worries, but say yes anyway cuz they insist in getting a picture of you and your friend. You quickly explain how your camera works and you try to re-iterate that you must HOLD the button down in order for it to flash...

You stand and pose, smiling waiting for the flash only to realize the stranger is pressing down the wrong button. You quickly race to the camera to bring it back to the right screen and you remind them once again to HOLD the button down. The stranger takes what they think is a really nice picture..you thank them repeatedly and they walk away. You hurry to see what the picture looks like..and..

.NOTHIN.... NOT ONE picture of you and your friend...not even a bad one..

.that is why I am laughing my butt off in the pictures above...P.E. kept bringing it up...Friday couldn't come fast enough and now it is already Saturday and almost Sunday. I celebrated with a good friend today as she wished her babies Happy First Birthday..and P.E. and I are shooting our kung fu scene tomorrow for the short film we are working on. Wish us luck...or at least pray for our well being..haha
